Are wedding bells on your horizon?

 

Congratulations! The decision to get married is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. It deserves time, prayer, and preparation. We want to be as helpful to you as possible. In the Archdiocese of Toronto, it is required that a couple begin the wedding preparation process at least one year before their desired wedding date. In fact, no wedding date may be confirmed until all the requirements, including a marriage preparation course, have been completed.

 

Kindly contact the Pastor at least one year in advance to allow ample time for preparation and planning.

 

What if a couple is legally married and now wants to get married "in the church"?

 

Couples who wish to have their civil or common-law marriage blessed (convalidated) are also asked to contact the Pastor. This too is a joyful occasion to be celebrated within the faith community.

 

Inquiries about marriage enrichment courses for married couples may be made by contacting the parish office.
